Ahmedabad: The mortal remains of senior Congress leader Ahmed Patel were brought to Ankleshwar in Bharuch district of Gujarat late Wednesday, where he will be kept in a hospital tonight. Patel's body will be buried in the ancestral village Piraman on Thursday morning. Party leaders gave this information.
Congress's Gujarat in-charge Rajiv Satav told reporters that former party president Rahul Gandhi would pay tribute to Patel on Thursday in Piraman.

Please tell that Patel's body was brought to Vadodara by plane in the evening, after which an ambulance was taken to Ankleshwar by road. A party leader said that tonight the body will be kept in a hospital in Ankleshwar. On Thursday morning, he will be taken to Piraman village for burial.
Patel, the top strategist of the Congress party and a troubleshooter, died in a hospital in Gurugram early Wednesday after battling with problems related to Kovid-19. Several senior leaders of Gujarat Congress reached Vadodara airport late evening and paid tribute to Patel.
