Now Tamil Nadu Chief Minister E Palaniswamy has said that schools will be reopened in the state from next week. Schools will open for students of 10th and 12th grade in the state from 19 January.
CM Palaniswami said that most of the parents want the schools to be reopened so that the students can prepare for the annual examination. He said, “95 percent of the parents want the schools to reopen.”
Only 25 students will be allowed to sit in class
Some rules have also been prescribed for the reopening of schools in the state. Now only 25 students will be present in each class and no more than that students will be allowed to sit in the class.
In addition, tablets that increase immunity to students will also be distributed in schools. Many schools in the state had requested the Education Department to allow them to reopen the school before the annual examinations so that the students can revise the final.
There are 18,894 active corona cases in the state
Significantly, after the outbreak of the corona epidemic in the country last year, thousands of schools across the country were closed and lockdown was implemented. After this, many schools have started reopening in recent times.
At the same time, according to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, till Monday, Kovid-19 had 18,894 active cases in Tamil Nadu and 7,13,584 cases have been recovered. At the same time, 11,344 people have died due to Corona virus infection in the state.
