new Delhi: The national capital Delhi is witnessing an upsurge in corona cases. In the last 24 hours, 7745 new cases of Corona have been reported in Delhi. This is the highest ever figure in a day. 77 more people have died due to this virus. However, after treatment, 6069 people have also recovered on Sunday. These figures have been revealed in the Health Bulletin issued by the Delhi Government.
After the arrival of new cases, infection cases have increased to 4 lakh 38 thousand 529. Out of this, 3 lakh 89 thousand 683 have been recovered after treatment and so far a total of 6989 people have died. At the same time, the number of active cases in Delhi is 41 thousand 857.

On Sunday, Delhi Health Minister Satyendra Jain said that the third round of Kovid-19 in the capital is at its peak and looking at the number of cases, it seems that this is the worst phase ever. The minister said that the government has increased the number of beds for Kovid-19 patients in hospitals in Delhi, but there is no plan to take the services of hotels and banquet halls.
Cases of corona virus infection have increased rapidly in Delhi amid festive weather and increasing air pollution. On Friday, more than 7,000 cases of Kovid-19 were reported in Delhi for the first time. On Saturday, the maximum 79 patients died in the city in the last four months. Satyendra Jain, who is on an official visit to Durangpur in Rajasthan, said that the first phase of Kovid-19 reached the peak around 23 June and the second round around 17 September.
