COVID-19 Cases In Delhi Rising Due To Doubled Testing Says Kejriwal | Kejriwal said on the condition of Corona in Delhi

new Delhi: Arvind Kejriwal, the Chief Minister of Delhi, the capital of the country, has said that cases of corona virus are increasing because the testing has been increased a lot. The number of tests for detecting corona in Delhi has been increased to 40 thousand tests per day. With the increase in the number of tests, now the number of new corona patients is also increasing in Delhi.

During the last 24 hours, more than 2900 corona patients have appeared. On this, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said, there is nothing to worry in Delhi right now. The situation is completely under control, however no negligence should be taken.

The Chief Minister has emphasized on preventing deaths from Corona. He said, if someone has a corona and that person recovers, then there is no problem. The problem is when a person has a corona and dies.

Death toll decreased in Delhi

Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said, in the last 24 hours, more than 2900 new cases of corona have been reported in Delhi. During this time 13 people have died. We want that not a single person dies from Corona, but if 13 deaths are talked about, then it is 0.4 per cent of the total patients exposed in a day. In June also, on June 27, 2900 new corona patients were exposed in 1 day and 66 people died of corona on the same day. Now this figure has come down considerably. Now every day 10 to 20 people are dying due to corona, which we are trying to control.

Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal admitted that in the last few days, Corona cases have increased in Delhi. The Chief Minister said, we have talked to the experts on this subject, some experts say that this is the second wave of Corona again. Some say it is not the second wave. We have to take necessary precautions keeping these technical things aside. Since August 15, the death rate due to corona in Delhi is 1 percent. While at the national level the death rate from corona is 1.7 percent.

Only 5000 beds are full in Delhi

The Chief Minister said, 14000 beds in Delhi hospitals have been reserved for corona patients. Of these, only 5000 beds are full. Among them, 16-17 hundred people have come from outside other states of Delhi. That means only 33-34 hundred people of Delhi are admitted in hospitals. Adequate beds are available in hospitals, but if more beds are required, we will arrange for that too.

The Chief Minister expressed displeasure over not applying the mask and not following social distancing. He said, we should definitely get out of the house for work, but during this time, masks should be used and social distancing should be fully followed. In case of ill health, get the test done immediately so that if you are suffering from corona then others can be alert and you can get the right treatment at the right time.
