Coronavirus: France To Provide India Ventilators And Test Kits

new Delhi: France has extended a helping hand towards India in the fight against the Kovid-19 epidemic. In this connection, a French Air Force aircraft will reach India on Tuesday with ventilators, test kits and other medical equipment.

According to an embassy statement, President Emanuel Mankro recently announced to provide medical equipment with technical expertise to India.

He said that under the medical aid package, France is offering 50 oris-3 ventilators to India and 70 Yuval 830 ventilators with BPAP method. Oris ventilator is especially useful in transporting patients from one hospital to another in emergency situation.

He said that France will also provide 50000 serological IgG / IgM kits to India and 50000 samples of nasal and throat samples and medical transport facilities.

The French Embassy said that a specialist mission on inter-hospital transport by military means is also being sent. The Embassy said that French Ambassador to India Emmanuel Lennain will hand over these things (medical equipment) to RK Jain, General Secretary of the Indian Red Cross Society at Palam Air Force Station.
